Our drivers and guides come from the east. Each and everyone offers a unique perspective on the land in the shadow of Vatnajökull.
A kilometre of ice, and everything it built.
Seven active volcanoes sleep under the ice cap. The outwash plains, the glacial rivers, the black sand, the icebergs at the shore — all of it is the glacier's work. This is the landscape we drive through every day.
